Work Submission & Publication Agreement

Introduction

MagPublish is a platform that brings together work owners and digital magazines. It is a mediation platform and does not interfere with publishing decisions. Copyright, publication rights, content responsibility, and possible legal processes are entirely between magazine management and work owner. MagPublish and its development team accept no legal or financial responsibility for submitted or published works and do not charge fees, commissions, or royalties from this process.

1. INTRODUCTION AND MEDIATION STATEMENT

MagPublish is a mediation platform and hosting provider that brings together digital magazines and work owners (writers, illustrators, photographers, poets, etc.).

MagPublish does not interfere with publication decisions, editorial processes, or content moderation in any way.

MagPublish and the development team do not claim any fees, commissions, or royalty shares from this process; nor do they accept any legal or financial responsibility.

2. COPYRIGHTS AND ORIGINALITY

Any submitted work must belong entirely to the sender and must be original.

All responsibility arising from the content and copyright status of the work belongs exclusively to the Work Owner.

3. CONTENT, ETHICS AND EDITORIAL PROCESS

Content Restrictions: Works cannot contain hate speech, violence, obscenity, sexual content, harassment, or any elements contrary to local/international laws.

Independence: The magazine management has the right to make technical edits to the work or reject the work in accordance with its publication policy. MagPublish does not interfere with these editorial processes at any stage.

4. LICENSE, PROMOTION AND USAGE PERMISSION

Publication Permission: In case the work is published, the work owner is deemed to have granted the magazine permission to share, reproduce, and archive the work in digital media.

Platform License: Ownership of the work remains with the Work Owner; however, a royalty-free license is deemed to have been granted for display on the MagPublish platform.

Promotion and Advertising: The Work Owner gives explicit consent for the submitted work (or a part of it) to be used free of charge in MagPublish platform promotion, social media posts, and advertising activities (by stating the work owner's name).

5. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA (KVKK)

Data Transfer: The Work Owner approves the sharing of personal data such as name, surname, and email with the relevant Magazine Management for the evaluation of the work and the execution of processes.

Processing Purpose: Data is processed in accordance with KVKK No. 6698 and GDPR standards for communication, tracking of publication processes, and ensuring system security.

6. PUBLICATION PROCESS AND TRACKING

Process Responsibility: The review period and publication timing of the work are exclusively between the Magazine Management and the Work Owner.

Tracking Area: Work owners can track processes via the "Work Submission" page within the application.

7. GLOBAL COMPLIANCE AND JURISDICTION

Legal Compliance: The Work Owner is obliged to comply with the laws of the Republic of Turkey and international copyright agreements.

Competent Authority: Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices are exclusively authorized for disputes arising from this specification.
